About Snapy
Snapy is a local commerce discovery platform built for secondhand and consignment shops. We help independent stores showcase their live in-store inventory online so local shoppers can find them on Google, Google Shopping, Facebook Marketplace, Instagram, and AI search tools.
What Snapy does
Snapy is a discovery tool, not an online store. We publish live product listings on behalf of participating shops so that nearby customers can see what's currently in stock — then come in to buy it in person.
Snapy does not facilitate online sales. There is no checkout, no payment processing, and no shipping. Every purchase happens directly at the physical shop. Snapy simply makes the inventory visible online so shoppers know what to expect before they walk through the door.
A store owner photographs an item. AI writes the title, description, and condition grade. One tap to confirm.
The item goes live on Google, Google Shopping, Facebook Marketplace, Instagram, and AI assistants — indexed within hours.
Shoppers visit the physical shop to purchase. No online checkout. No shipping. First come, first served.
Our mission
Independent secondhand shops hold an important place in every community — they keep quality goods in circulation, reduce waste, and offer real value to local buyers. But most of these shops have little or no online presence, which means local shoppers simply don't know they exist.
Snapy's mission is to close that gap. We give small shops the same online discoverability that large retailers take for granted — without requiring them to become an online retailer. The shop stays a shop. We just make sure the neighbourhood knows what's in stock.
Who we are
Snapy is an early-stage platform based in North Vancouver, BC, Canada. Our first partner store is On Top Bike Shop, a consignment shop specialising in used bicycles and ski gear at 3057 Lonsdale Ave, North Vancouver.
